Description: The majority of countries in Europe have regulations setting a specific time frame for fitting winter tyres. Such obligation was introduced in Germany, Austria, Norway, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Finland, Slovenia, Croatia, Latvia, Estonia, Romania, and Turkey, but here 27 provinces are exempt from this obligation. The law regulations require driving with winter tyres between 1 November and 31 March.
